With origins in the national marriage equality movement, Side with Love has always been committed to working for LGBTQ equity at large. Despite a series of victories across the country, we know LGBTQ people continue to face discrimination, marginalization and violence.
Side with is committed to supporting approaches to justice-making rooted in a racial justice analysis with a recognition of our many identities. We recognize that race, gender, class, ability, language & citizenship expand and impact the ways LGBTQ people experience oppression, marginalization and privilege.
Through our work, in partnership with faith-based and secular LGBTQ organizations, we support a full and comprehensive human rights agenda where people can live freely with respect and dignity. We are committed to supporting UU congregations, individuals and our partners to create spaces and experiences inclusive of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
