Green Sanctuary 2030
For 35 years, the Green Sanctuary program has supported UUs in protecting our environment. We honor that work and we need to transform our commitments and actions to respond to the challenges of our times. The new Green Sanctuary 2030: Mobilizing for Climate Justice offers a flexible, manageable, and impactful process to support UUs in transforming their congregations through climate justice.
The Green Sanctuary 2030 process and community are here to support your congregation’s climate ministry. With just one requirement for yearly recognition, there has never been a better time to renew your congregation’s commitment to climate justice! Questions? Connect with our team by emailing us!
The Green Sanctuary Process includes:
Four Essentials of Climate Action
Five Approaches to Support Your Congregation
One Requirement for Yearly Recognition
Orientation Video
Green Sanctuary 2030 Materials
Searchable Congregational Actions Database
Make connections and learn from each other by searching the Green Sanctuary 2030 Actions Database. When a congregation shares an action via the Action Report Form, it populates the GS2030 Actions database. You can search the database to get ideas and connect to other GS2030 Teams. The database only as good as the actions you add to it!
🍂 You can access the database in the Sharing Our Progress section of the Green Sanctuary 2030 Materials. If you don’t have access to the materials, sign up to receive them.
