In times when it can seem hard to identify joys and successes, celebration is an act of resistance and reimagining.
So let’s celebrate your congregation’s climate justice work!
We invite all to join us on Wednesday, January 28 at 1pm HT - 3 AKT - 4 PT - 5 MT - 6 CT - 7pm ET for our Green Sanctuary Celebration, honoring the incredible climate justice work happening around the country in our congregations.
During the celebration, Green Sanctuary 2030 teams share brief updates on their climate actions. We all get so many fantastic ideas and leave inspired by the ways UUs are advancing climate justice in our communities.
All work done is worth celebrating, so be sure to tell us what you’ve done so we can name and appreciate it!
This celebration is always joyful and fun, centering the very real ways all of you are making a change.
30 Days of Love 2026

At a time when fear, violence, and extraction dominate our politics and our planet, we practice another way. We believe love is not fragile; it is fierce. It grounds our organizing, fuels our imagination, and sustains our communities. Over five weeks, we will move through a journey from imagination to action, rooting our freedom dreams in faith and bringing them to life in our world.
Each week, we will have a written reflection from Side With Love staff; a conversation with a UU theologian; a multigenerational family activity; reflection questions for journaling; a meditative body practice; and a coloring sheet connected to the weekly theme.
Our weekly themes are:

Week 3: Mobilizing Action
Week 4: Nurturing Community
Week 5: Exploring Possibilities
Update on our email communications in 2026
Starting in January 2026, all regular climate justice updates will be included in our unified monthly Side With Love Newsletter, which brings together actions, events, and resources from across all our justice issue areas. We'll continue to provide weekly updates via the Action Center Weekly Updates. Check out our December blast to see what to expect.
With this shift to a single monthly email, you’ll receive fewer emails overall, with one reliable monthly message where you can find everything happening across Side With Love - including climate justice and Green Sanctuary 2030 updates, organizing opportunities, toolkits, and new resources housed in our Action Center.
