30 Days of Love 2026 - Week Two: Grounding in Context
…amidst those real fears and uncertainties, we knew there was space for hope. Because we believed, and still do, that just because the hardships are inevitable, it doesn’t mean the beauty and healing are impossible. Because we know what kind of world we are building our family within, we can surround [our child] with the values, experiences, and communities that nurture their creativity, resilience, compassion, and commitment to the world they decide is possible. - Rev. Ranwa Hammamy
Week Two of 30 Days of Love begins now! This week’s theme is Grounding in Context. We begin in vision. Our faith calls us to be present to the realities of our communities.
This week invites us to understand the histories, conditions, and truths that shape our communities and this moment. We’ll listen deeply, map our contexts, and ensure that our work remains accountable to those most impacted.
Check out our incredible offerings for this week: a reflection from Rev. Ranwa Hammamy, Side With Love's Congregational Justice Organizer; a theological conversation with UUA Director of Organizing Strategy Nicole Pressley; an original coloring sheet; a meditative body practice; multiple activities for families to do together; and a journal worksheet to reflect on this week's theme.
