Dilley Detention Center National UU Action Hour: Follow-Up Resources
Thank you to the over 300 people who joined us for yesterday's powerful UU Action Hour in solidarity with the children and families detained at the Dilley Detention Center in partnership with the Texas UU Justice Ministry. As promised, here are the upcoming opportunities to take action. And please do continue making calls using yesterday’s Action Hour Doc.
A note from Rev. Erin
Dear UUs far and wide,
The Texas UU Justice Ministry cannot thank you enough for being alongside us yesterday. It was beautiful and powerful and then scary and traumatic, and your support added to our courage and peace in the face of state violence. I felt such hope rippled through Dilley’s Watermelon Park when I told people that a national call was happening at the same time. Please keep up the pressure on our government to end this violence and to free families.
With love from Texas,
Rev. Erin Walter, TXUUJM
