30 Days of Love 2022

30 Days of Love is our annual celebration that runs approximately from Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January through Valentine’s Day in February. It is an opportunity to collectively nurture our spirits, deepen our understanding, and take action on our values for collective liberation.
In 2022, 30 Days of Love will focus on Side With Love’s four intersectional justice priorities, with opportunities each week for communities and people of all ages to ground, grow, and act together for justice.
Weekly Playlists - Resources And Activities For All Ages
Each week of 30 Days of Love a ‘playlist’ or ‘menu’ of activities for a multigenerational audience. We will have a full playlist of offerings each week for families/communities in the categories of Read, Watch, Act, Listen, and Worship.
Weekly Spiritual Nourishment Offerings
A long-haul commitment to the work of collective liberation requires us to engage regularly in spiritual practice to feed our spirits. This year, we are thrilled to welcome Rev. Ali K.C. Bell as our 30 Days of Love Minister in Residence. Each week, Rev. Ali is curating several opportunities for all of us to reflect, slow down, and tap into joy. Weekly Political Education Opportunities
During each week of 30 Days of Love, the Side With Love team will offer an engaging live event for participants to go deeper into one aspect of the intersectional justice priority that is the week’s theme. Weekly Actions with the Side With Love Action Center
This year, 30 Days of Love showcases the four intersectional justice priorities that shape Side With Love’s work year-round. Get a taste of the array of actions individuals and congregations can engage in through our Action Center by participating in these weekly opportunities to build your skills and work for change together. Please note: because we are following the lead of our movement partners and coalitions, actions often arise quickly and are not announced with significant advance notice. Save the Date – Side With Love Sunday is February 13!
All Unitarian Universalist congregations are invited to participate in this annual tradition! This year, Side With Love will offer a free-use worship service featuring stirring music, deep-hearted reflection, and moving testimonies from a range of UU leaders. The service will be available for use as a whole, or as individual videos for your selected use. A detailed order of service including worship leaders and elements will be available here on Monday, January 30; all videos will be available for access/download on Friday, February 5.
